Let’s take a trip to, Bora Bora. The luxurious 6 mile long island, overflows with beauty. The island is located in French Polynesia is know as the honeymoon central. Northwest of Tahiti, also less than an hour away from apeete by plane. Bora Bora’s airport is located in a small part of the island called Motu Mete. After landing you will be welcomed by the locales with beautiful lei flowers, and then transported via boat to your Bora Bora’s resort. The boat ride over is on the famous translucent lagoon.
Besides enjoying the beautiful scenery, there are 3 things you MUST do while in Bora Bora.
- Coral Garden
Make sure to grab your snorkeling gear and get down to Coral Garden. The beautiful fish and sea life are a rave, you will also be able to enjoy the beautiful
coloring of marine life. - Mount Otemanu
Take a hike on one of the two extinct volcanoes on the island. Rising 2,400 feet above the lagoon, Mount Otemanu is known for its breathe taking view at the top of the hike. If hiking a mountain is not in your agenda there are alternative options to enjoy this attraction. - Stingray/Shark Feeding
Bora Bora’s incredibly blue waters make stingray and shark feeding such a electrifying experience. You will receive the opportunity to interact with the local black reef shark and stingrays in their natural habitat, with the chance to feed and encounter these beautiful sea creatures. This could be the highlight to your trip.
Bora Bora is an expensive trip but from the looks of it, it is completely worth it.
